Video QA | Audio channels

The number of audio channels test evaluates whether the file is mono, stereo, or has multiple channels (such as 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound). You can also use this test to specify that a video asset may not have any audio attached to it.

Audio channels settings in Cape Ad Validation

In Cape Ad Validation, you can select one or several of the below options:

• No audio (0 channels) — selection this option to ensure no audio is present
• Mono (1 channel) 
• Stereo (2 channels)
• Quadraphonic (4 channels)
• 5.1 surround (6 channels)
• 7.1 surround (8 channels)

Enabling this setting ensures files match your requirements in regards to audio.
